- How do I find junior golf tournaments near me?
- Pick your state below for a full schedule, or type a state, city, tour, or month into the search box. Each state page also lists neighboring states with upcoming events and the local junior tours that hold events there.
- Which junior golf tour should a beginner start with?
- Most players start on a local tour: U.S. Kids Golf local tours or PGA Jr. League for ages 5 to 11, then the local PGA Section junior tour or state golf association junior tour for first 18-hole events. Our local tours directory lists every program by state, with ages, formats, and costs.
- How does college golf recruiting work?
- College coaches recruit from tournament scoring averages against strong fields. NCAA D1 and D2 coaches can begin contact on June 15 after sophomore year. There are more than a thousand programs across NCAA D1, D2, D3, NAIA, and NJCAA, most of them outside the top D1 tier. Our college golf hub explains every level and where to look.
- What age can kids start playing junior golf tournaments?
- Some tours run divisions from age 5 or 6 with shortened yardages; most regional tours start at 8 and run through 18 or high school graduation. Our getting-started guide explains which division to enter first.
- Does it cost anything to use this site?
- No. Searching, the calendar, the schedule builder, and every guide are free. Entry fees are paid to the tournament organizer when you register on their site.
